For our field trip in March we went to the K-State Insect Museum to go along with our unit on insects. We are still learning about insects in our classroom with the caterpillars that have recently gone into their cocoons to become beautiful butterflies. Ask your child all about it and I am sure they will love telling you every detail theyhave observed. Below are a few pictures of our K-State visit. Mrs. Jennifer was a little too chicken to touch much, but Mrs. Nanette came to the rescue with her willingness to pass around a few insects to touch. Thanks Mrs. Nanette!
